Clear All RF Devices

This is a new feature for Chiptech base units. There may be some situations where you need to clear all of the RF devices learned into a base unit.

If you are experiencing any ‘RF failed to test’ reports in areas that service many base units, clearing all RF devices will allow you to relearn the devices to ensure that it has not been incorrectly programed with another nearby customers RF device.

For example, if a base unit has been refurbished and is no longer using the originally paired pendant, clearing all RF devices ensures that the base unit will no longer respond to the old pendant.

When “Yes” is selected and the installer moves to the next option OR exits the Installer Setup Menu, SEVEN will announce “RF devices cleared. Enter learn mode to add devices”.

SEVEN will clear the Device List of all the RF Devices that have been previously learned in. No RF device will be able to activate SEVEN.

Please note: An installer can swap back and forth between “Yes” and “No” without clearing All RF Devices, only moving to the next option or exiting will Clear All RF Devices.
