Daily Movement Reassurance
Mark’s Story
Mark’s mum, Judy, lives alone and enjoys her independence. But when Mark can’t visit or check in, he worries if she’s okay in the mornings.
Now, with the Adi Daily Check sensor, Judy’s movement in the home automatically completes her Daily Check, no button press needed. If there’s no movement and the button isn’t pressed, SEVEN sends an alert so help can be arranged.
It’s a simple way for Mark to stay connected and reassured, even from afar.
The Adi Daily Check sensor detects movement in Judy’s home each morning. If she’s up and about, it automatically clears the Daily Check. If there’s no movement and the button isn’t pressed, SEVEN sends an alert so help can be arranged.
At home, she wears a lightweight Opal personal help button around her neck. This allows her to summon help from anywhere in her home, connecting wirelessly to the SEVEN base unit.
The SEVEN base unit is always ready to respond. Judy can press the Help button at any time if she needs help, and it works alongside her sensors to raise alerts automatically when something’s not right.
Living with a Risk of Falling
Elaine’s Story
Elaine lives on her own and values her independence, but after a few falls, she wanted some extra support to feel safe at home and when she’s out. She uses a tailored package of care:
At home, she wears her Pearl Advanced Fall Detector this can automatically sense if Elaine has a fall and raises an alert straight away, so help can get to her quickly.
An automated pill dispenser reminds Elaine to take her medication a the right time, reducing her chance of falling.
When Elaine goes out, she wears her GO mobile pendant. It has built-in fall detection and uses location technology, helping Elaine to stay safe wherever she goes.
At night, the Adi Bed Sensor quietly monitors Elaine’s presence, making sure she returns to bed safely. If she doesn’t, it sends an alert to monitoring.
Living Alone with Confidence
George’s Story
George enjoys his independence and wants to feel safe at home, especially since he lives alone. To support his confidence and security, George uses a tailored package of care that includes:
An Adi Door Sensor with duress alerting sends an immediate alert to monitoring if the door is opened unexpectedly, to identify potential intruders or if George forgets to close the door properly. For added security, George can press the duress button if he feels threatened which silently notifies the monitoring team without sounding an alarm, ensuring a situation is not escalated while help is sent.
George wears a lightweight Opal personal help button around his neck. This allows him to summon help from anywhere in his home, connecting wirelessly to the SEVEN base unit.
When George leaves home, he wears the GO mobile pendant, that enable two-way voice communication. This gives George the freedom to explore, exercise, and connect with his community while knowing help is the squeeze/pinch of a button away.
Dementia Care at Home
Rob & Jane’s Story
Rob is living with early stage of dementia and sometimes leaves the house without telling Jane. To help them both feel more secure, they’ve set up a customised package of care:
A SEVEN, a smart base unit that works seamlessly with our all our sensors to provide an extra layer of reassurance for both Rob & Jane to quickly ask for help at any time, simply by pressing a button.
An Adi Door Sensor sends an alert to the SEVEN base unit whenever Rob opens an external door at night, this allows him to move about at home and enables Jane to sleep easy, knowing she’ll be woken up if Rob attempts to leave.
The remotely monitored Adi Pill Dispenser reminds Rob to take his medication on time, with visual and audible alerts. This helps Rob maintain his independence and medication adherence and reduces the burden of caring, while also giving Jane the ability to leave him at times during the day, knowing he is supported in taking his medication.
