Flood Detector reduces water damage prevents mould wirelessly alerts
An early warning of accidental flooding in the home.
Adi Flood Detector raises an alert when it detects a flood, thereby reducing the potential for slipping and water damage to property.
Features
- Dual function – The Adi Flood Detector indicates the unwanted presence of water highlighting a potential risk and features a Help button that can be used to summon assistance.
- Easy installation – Adi Flood Detector can be installed with foam-back tape or screws, no wiring is required.
- Low battery reporting – When Adi’s battery reaches 20% of its capacity, Adi automatically sends a report so that the battery can be replaced ensuring continuous operation.
Who is it for?
Adi Flood Detector enhances the well-being of people in a home setting who may forget to turn the water off when running a bath or filling the sink. It provides an early indication that someone may need support in cleaning up a flood event to prevent damage to the property and prevent the growth of mould.
How it works
The Adi Flood Detector can be placed on the floor under a sink, near a bath or by a toilet to detect early signs of flooding. The flood sensor connects to Adi through a 3.5 mm socket and is positioned so the sensor probes become immersed in water when flooding occurs.
How it reports
When the flood sensor probes have detected water for 4 seconds, Adi signals to the SEVEN base unit. The 4-second detection time ensures that the flood is genuine and prevents false alarms due to small splashes on the flood sensor
SEVEN receives the flood alert from Adi then sends a 'Flood' signal for assistance
When water has not been detected for 10 seconds, Adi signals to the SEVEN base unit which then sends a ‘Restore’ signal
When pressed, the button on the Adi case will either send the Alert type i.e. activate a Help alert. The Base unit is designed to be able to behave differently depending on the signal received
