Flood Detector

An early warning of accidental flooding in the home.

Adi Flood Detector raises an alert when it detects a flood, thereby reducing the potential for slipping and water damage to property.

Features

Dual function
The Adi Flood Detector indicates the unwanted presence of water highlighting a potential risk and features a Help button that can be used to summon assistance.

Easy installation
Adi Flood Detector can be installed with foam-back tape or screws, no wiring is required.

Low battery reporting
When Adi’s battery reaches 20% of its capacity, Adi automatically sends a report so that the battery can be replaced ensuring continuous operation.

Who is it for?

Adi Flood Detector enhances the well-being of people in a home setting who may forget to turn the water off when running a bath or filling the sink. It provides an early indication that someone may need support in cleaning up a flood event to prevent damage to the property and prevent the growth of mould.

Alert Handling and Response Processes

The Adi Flood Detector can be placed on the floor under a sink, near a bath or by a toilet to detect early signs of flooding. The flood sensor connects to Adi through a 3.5 mm socket and is positioned so the sensor probes become immersed in water when flooding occurs.

Alert
When the flood sensor probes have detected water for four seconds, Adi signals to the SEVEN base unit. The four second detection time ensures that the flood is genuine and prevents false alarms due to small splashes on the flood sensor.

Alert Received
SEVEN receives the flood alert from Adi then sends a ‘Flood’ signal for assistance.

Restore
When water has not been detected for 10 seconds, Adi signals to the SEVEN base unit which then sends a ‘Restore’ signal.

Button Press
When pressed, the button on the Adi case will either send the Alert type i.e. activate a Help alert. The base unit is designed to be able to behave differently depending on the signal received.

A single grey 15mm soft button in the center of the case for efficient pairing and range testing.

Button is recessed to prevent false activations, but easy to press with tactile feedback when the button is activated.

Adi’s light ring will illuminate and flash when the transmission from a button press has been confirmed by the SEVEN base unit.

Operates reliably within temperatures ranging from 0˚C to +50˚C, ensuring performance in various indoor environments, including areas with temperature fluctuations.

Adi Connect

The 3.5mm audio socket on Adi Connect enables external devices, such as the flood detector, to be connected, providing enhanced monitoring capabilities.

Install for success

Position Adi at least 30cm above the floor to prevent floodwater from entering through the connection socket.

Maintain a 1 mm gap between the prong tips and the floor.
