PRU Telehealth Info
PRU telehealth is specifically designed to assist the user to manage their health condition in the comfort of their own home. The PRU telehealth system combines telecare functions with a customisable telehealth system to provide specialised support to users to enable them to effectively and efficiently manage their conditions.
Health Check - a condition specific question session that occurs at set time(s) each day and records readings taken on home health monitoring devices.
Health conditions that can be supported include:
- Diabetes
- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
- Congestive Heart Failure
Medication Reminders - daily timed voice message to remind a user to take their medication. Non-acknowledgment can result in alerts being sent to the monitoring station or carers to follow up.
"Are you OK?" Check - a daily timed message that requires acknowledgment if there has been no movement, designed to ensure that the user is up and about by a pre-set time.
Support Check - pin based login and reporting system that records amount of time carers are at a person's home.
