What a busy year!

Chiptech continues to experience growth in a number of areas including an increased local customer base for medical alarms. We have been busy filling orders, supporting, and training companies around the country.

We have also released a number of new products in the past few months and are proud to be offering more options to our existing and new customers.

One major milestone for us has been the release of our new product, the Personal Response Unit (PRU). We recently celebrated the export of this product to a new customer in Australia, with a mystery day of fun for the staff.

It was an early Friday morning start for everyone, with instructions to meet at the airport, destination unknown. The announcement that a trip to Queenstown was on the agenda was met with much excitement. After days of bad weather, we struck it lucky and flew into the Central Otago sunshine. Breakfast in a popular cafe, was followed by a ride up the gondola. We were soon racing each other down the slopes on the luge tracks with some exhilarating challenges and one unfortunate tumble. We had a few minutes to enjoy the view before being ushered off to our next destination - jet boating on the stunning Shotover River! After a thrilling trip up and down the river, with a few 360s thrown in for good measure, we were soaked and grinning from ear to ear. A hungry crew enjoyed a late lunch on the waterfront and a quick visit to the chocolate shop. We couldn't have had a nicer day, and happily headed back to the airport, getting home just after 5pm. A great start to the weekend.
